I can relate. But you find ES more tradable intraday than CL? For your purposes, did CL's setups or fills degrade in comparison to ES?

I feel more at home trading ES than CL because I've been trading it for so long. As slippage goes, I think ES is slightly better. Personally, I don't really pay that much attention to price. I'm more interested in riding the breakouts.
