Fred, I fully agree with your sentiment, but...

You're right it is just an upper body work out. I purposely kept it short, sweet but effective...so that any noob could hopefully get quick visible results in a short period of time (12 wks)

I am a realist though, and I understand that it's about the individual, and how much effort they are willing to put in (as with most things in life)

Absolutely disagree on the trap emphasis. Big traps take away from a V-taper which is implied in the OP. Big delts, lats and arms will be the look you are seeking.

I agree DTB2. Not a fan of the "yoked" rounded traps as I also think they take away from the V aesthetic.
I find the Upright Rows hit the traps as per my needs.
I guess it comes down to personal preference as regards the look one desires and consideration for ones build.
