hi,

no, nothing to do with elliott or glenn neally--- although i have much respect for glenn.

the system determines likely levels of continuation or resistance by squaring price and time, creating a channel ( death channel ) where in the traditional system one is flat, long above the channel, short below. backtests have shown that if price hesiates and fails at these figures rather than breaking thru, the move back thru the channel is often enough to capture profits at these figures, if it does not break thru by the parameters and currently i am trying to capture the failures as well. hopefuly this makes sense.

My strategy previously mentioned here (and based on Surf's death channel approach) has a nice set up right now. The BB is crossing back from outside of the upper band. So let's make a hypothetical narrow death zone of 11100 - 11125.
Long above, short below, let's see how it is going to play out and how many tries it takes before it leaves in one way or other...
 
the DJIA longs were closed today, capturing small profits. flat here entering friday. the surf channel is presently 10993--11077 in cash dow.

the currency trading is proceeding nicely and we are in the process of finding the next equity trade.

My channel previously posted didn't work out. I either picked the wrong point or made the channel to narrow, because the Dow actually was bouncing in between those values several times giving lots of false signals.

Anyway, I have a weak sell signal, and I am looking for breaking below 11K in the next few trading days.
