Surf, I think GOOG will make a great short at $1000. I also think there could be some money to be made when it hits $500 for a quick two day selloff.

In the meantime, read this book.

thanks, mav! i was actually looking at that book at barnes and noble yesterday. it really looks fascinating. thanks for the suggestion, its on my list.

420 before 520--- i am still sticking to my projection.

the more bullish sentiment, the more confident i am in my short position.

Surfer....you have been round' long enough to know how difficult it is to pick tops and bottoms in the market. Everyone seems bullish on goog, and that in and of itself may be reason enough to short it....but goog could very well hit $800 before it turns around and heads south.

One thing is for sure....GOOG is set up for a very large move here...and UP seems like the path of least resistance. Just my opinion...good luck!
