i use an esoteric device called a "gann wheel" to determine the channels. i use tradestation and like it, but, the channels cannot be preprogramed with easy lanquage. what i do is simple, just draw horizontal trend lines at the upper and lower figures and when a full three minute bar/candle penetrates that is the signal-- i do have an alarm on the lines. hope this helps.

hi,

the downwave caught at 1527 in the compx continued nicely as today. the 1477 level provided some support midday but was broken in the later afternoon. we are still holding ALL shorts here expecting additional downside.

I've been following your thread for some time now. If you have a minute could you please go over your trading technique a bit? It appears you are using breakouts/breakdowns in channels based on the Nas composite and trading NQ based on that or individual stocks or some other vehicle?

wow, still riding the down swell in the nasdaq composite. looks like september lows may be tested shortly. we are holding out shorts in nasdaq composite, MSFT, and AOL over the weekend. technically, this market is brutal, hang on !

good morning,

as you know we are holding nasdaq index, msft and aol shorts into the open today. my studies have indicated a very high potential of a summer bottom in the nasdaq by friday 6.28.02 . this does not mean to immediately go long this week, the market MAY have an extended flat period after the bottoming action. whoa man, these are exciting times !!!!!

we were stopped out of our AOL and MSFT shorts today at even and a small profit respectively. still holding the nasdaq index shorts here. looking forward to tuesday !
