good morning,

the system kept us short once again in the nasdaq overnight. pre market activity is indicating continued selling when the markets open. today may be the day we test the lows in the composite. should we gap down, then rally, i highly suggest not buying the rally immediately, unless you are quite nimble.

wow, what a rally that was !! we broke above our 1503 figure but not by much. i am still holding all nasdaq index system shorts going into the open monday. at 1503, started considering taking profits, at 1527 will definitively close shorts and prepare to go long if warranted. stay tuned.

as you know, we are currently short the nasdaq index going into the open monday. we will stay short untill 1527 is broken on the upside, then the shorts will be closed. we will stay flat untill 1557 is violated by our parameters then go LONG. it is difficult to project what will happen monday, but the system should keep us profitable regardless.

our gann wheel channel kept us out of the nasdaq index today and we are currently flat. however, the channel has shifted based on time/price juncture to 1527 to 1563. we will short sub 1527 and go long above 1563--flat in the death channel.

we attempted to enter longs in the nasdaq index when 1563 was violated today and were stopped out with unusually wide stops---ouch :(. wednesday, will trade off the same channel, long or short depending on which way we break. my rules allow for four (4) entry attempts at the channel numbers before the figures are re evaluated as not valid at this time. i know as a trader, i need to embrace being wrong---- but man, i DON"T LIKE IT !! waiting for wednesday---FLAT here and now.

Oh well...at least wednesday is over, right? Anyway, I enjoy your journal and you've had a pretty solid run lately...so tomorrow it's back to the winning ways.:)

after being stopped out on our first short entry today, our second entry at the lower channel figure caught a nice move on the downside. the nasdaq composite closed on the low of the day and we are holding all shorts overnight into the open thursday. yeah !!
