Quote from doublea:

That's true but I think all the easy money had been made in shipping stocks. Buying pullbacks would be the right thing to do but gold stocks are just starting to move up-- the trend is just starting.

There was 4 new highs today (out of shipping 31 stocks). One of them, MCX, rose 28.4% today.

How many points did you miss by trading out and then back in??

I don't mean to be obnoxious but this highlights an important trading principle, particularly for milking a multi-day trend. You threw those points away, & in the end they do add up. (I'm speaking from experience!) :)

I'll guess of the total points from your original entry, you probably sacrificed ~4%. As you said, not a lot in and of itself. Yet, If you are going to be riding this wave over several weeks and do that 1-2x per week you could conceivably give up 20-40% of the total trade.

That is the way it works - Outch! Been there, done that.

Hi Surfer,

That music's good, ... got any more that you like to listen to ? ... free, on the web, if possible ! lol ... I'm really out of touch with music any more, 'cos all the commercial stuff is so bad.

I've also been looking for some jazzed-up, 12-string guitar, maybe a little congas, South American-type music. Do you know of any ?

"What are you afraid of" is awesome.

Good trading, XGG
