I will be watching today as I feel we will make new highs intraday for the S&P, and then I think we are in a ripe area for big profit taking and a pullback to the 1015 to 1017 area over the next week or two. I will be trading the ES today while adding SHORT positions to my existing positions as I see that any sort of a downtrend develops intraday. The remainder of this weeks trading will be very interesting to watch as economic news should bring some volatility to the markets. We shall see!

I shorted the ES out of the open and did very well today. I was in and out of shorts all day and caught the second really nice drop also. Now the market ended up closing higher than I thought it would for the day, so I will be a bit more tentative at the open tomorrow if the overnight session holds its' ground. I think Marketsurfer might have just nailed this one on his call for the 16th to be an interesting day (SHORT biased). We shall see, this is starting to get fun..... I love the drama! :)

our research NAILED the drop starting yesterday in the DJIA about 8 days prior. i am PSYCHED !! we closed 1/2 of the shorts yesterday capturing a nice profit and are holding 1/2 of the original shorts entered at 3:30 10.15.2003 in the DJIA, SP, and NASDAQ. thanks everyone for the pm's and posts.
