looks like we may have stayed on this LONG wave a bit too long, as she may break over us in a severe gap down this morning. should the futures breakdown translate into an opening gap down, the marketsurfer 9 MINUTE GAP RULE will be invoked. for those of you new to the surfer strategies for all markets and situations--- the 9 MINUTE GAP RULE states--wait for a full 9 minutes after opening ( 3 three minute bars) mark the LOW of the third bar--this now becomes the absolute stop level for the day. remember, this gap rule applies ONLY IF the gap is sub our initial entry level within the first 9 minutes. if we stay above the entry level, i am STAYING IN LONG.

Sorry I couldnt get to you earlier. I got a massive ????? signal on Friday. My power was out so I had to call the desk and place a short manuely. Because I had no power I could not update my journal to include this in all fairness. But between me and you I shorted ESZ3 @ 1032.75 and took profit this morning @ 1019.75.
I dont know what to say but It could prove another possible Long entry scenario by today's close or by tommorows close. So if you are still long and have not been stopped out you may have a wonderful opportunity to add longs soon.
However, if you are flat (like I am) then thats cool too.
p.s. I have a huntch that you are short!

Resistance: 1024.75
If the market manages to get above this level without putting in a new low by 2:30pm.............STRONG BUY!!!!!!!!!
If the market CAN NOT get above this level and puts in a new low at or before 2:30pm...........STRONG SELL!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. 38.2% Fib Retracement on Daily Bars: = 1008.75!!!!!!
a strong support could be made at this price level. (may be a good buy off support). We will wait and see how today plays out.

as you know the severe gap down this morning caused us to reevaluate the previoous stop levels. we are still holding longs at this time.
