after some whipsaw at the channel levels, we positioned LONG in the DJIA and MSFT reaping some nice ( unrealized) profits. holding here into wed. open.

as you know, the system placed us LONG the DJIA yesterday. after a bit of selling pressure this morning, the dow has turned positive and we are very bullish at this time. holding longs in DJIA and MSFT. 9177 is the next pink gann line level to contend with on the upside.

the dow blew thru the surfer neogann level of 9177 , this should act as support here. the next resistance is 9203. OH YEAHHHHHHHH! we are riding HIGH !

9177 has been broken on pullback. i am closing the longs and taking profits here at 9175. closing MSFT at 26.46. going totally FLAT--will post next levels this evening.

Do you execute all of your contracts at the same time, at the same price? Why YM are easier than ES, NQ? Can you name any reasons? Maybe because Dow consists of only 30 stocks vs 100 and 500 for nq, es?

yes, i normally sell everything at once. no scaling out for me. YM seems to move smoother and i can chart all 30 dow stocks at once.

as you know, we took profits yesterday and are currently flat. surfer's neogann channel for the DJIA is currently 9207--9153. we will be trading mechanically off these levels pursuant to the systems rules. i am still extremely bullish at this time, but will do what the market says to do.

we entered long near the open when 9203 was broken and held on for a nice ride on the upside. pursuant to the system, the position was held untill the WIDE stops closed it at 9208 for a mere 5 points gross :( . the DJIA continued to drop thru the lower channel figure triggering shorts which were stopped out immediately, shorts were then re-entered when the channel broke again for the final time --we are currenly short from9151. holding overnight.

i "feel" extremely bullish at this time, however, i am presently experiencing some non trading related emotional turmoil in my personal life. due to this condition, i WILL NOT be placing any discretionary type trades untill the emotional issues resolve themselves. i will be STRICTLY trading the system using mechanical entries and exits. in addition, trailing stops will be utilized, never allowing a profitable system trade to turn negative. i feel totally out of synch with the market at this time, therefore the elimination of discretionary entries / exits. the profits will take care of themselves with the system. as you know, we are currently SHORT the DJIA with wide trailing stops. awaiting friday open.

Sorry to here that Dave.The Surf channel has been firering off some good entries,just seems the mid-summer slow down is in effect dampening things.We're in vacation mode ourselves heading to dis-world in a couple weeks,Badlands in Dakotas not so long ago,car shows,camping,you name it,every week end.Nothing aligns the old emotions like an adventurous get-away!And you thought you had a bad day,did you see Qusay and Ouday?OUCH
