we are strictly trading the system here, BUT, several intraday factors at this time (12:39) are indicating a selloff by the close. i am waiting for confirmation by breakage of lower channel figures to enter.

What are these intraday factors that you are referring too that are indicating a selloff by the close?
 
currently flat the DJIA. we attempted 4 entries short today at the lower channel figure, being stopped out of all of them. the expected selling by close did not materialize therefore we are flat overnight. will trade mechanically off the channel wednesday.

staying flat here in the channel. will execute mechanically when (if) upper figures are violated. very comfortable being flat at this time.

Hi Dave,
Did you have any heads up on HPQ before their earnings news and run up?Its adding another bar today looks like.It came across my RSI scans a while ago,should have known it was early buyers.Cisco is up over 30% since bouncing off that lower channel I mentioned before.Another scan pick was MANU at 2.30 unfortunately a papertrade,up around 130% since.If you have a minute take a look at three year/monthly charts of these three.Bases are built,candles are lightly trending up,and bollingers are squeezing.Three year charts are interesting right now!
 
thanks for advising me, pete. no, i was not aware. our gann figure of 9027 seems to effectively holding the dow below it so far today. flat here and now.
