LONG entering open in DJIA and NASDAQ. i was in a meeting yesterday with some private money people from morgan stanley and brandywine asset management---- biggs who is morgan's lead analyst is expecting 20-30% gains in equity indexes this year. i am not that bullish, but it is interesting that we are on the same bullish side. whatever that could mean
:)

still holding longs thru the volatility. see you monday !

surfer:)

Does "4.2003" imply the market will be bullish by April 2003, or this thread will be ...?

YES !!! thanks everyone for your encouragement and kind words during the last 9 trading days. i stuck to my analysis, averaged down due to my conviction that a huge rally would occur and it appears to have started today. i am still long but have lightened my postion dramatically at a profit. the current neogann channel in the DJIA is 7777 to 7903--short below, long above and flat in the middle. NASDAQ composite is 1333 to 1297.

on the daily DJIA chart a very nice bottoming tail formed fortelling of the nice upmove today. as you know, i am holding small positions long in both the DJIA and NASDAQ since
my long term analysis is still indicating additional upside, with another potential MONSTER up move soon.

best,

surfer

Hi Surfer

I just would like to learn from you one thing. Did you hedge the above position by option or else? Thanks in advance!

Surf,

Thursday and Friday erased almost all of Wednesday's gains. How do you hold longs through such a downdraft? Are you hedging your positions? Are you hedging your profits?

''20-30% gains ''may be a bit much on the DIA;20 % +seems reasonably for the SPY.Got to respect Morgan Stanley they hired Joshua Lukeman.

20-30% seems seems underestimated for QQQ[or $NDX]-they make that in the 4th quarter much of the time. {10 years + data]

Trembling with the spring green up,green charts, and green tea.
OVER looked ike a good short EXCEPT- DIA SPY QQQ are too strong for me to short now.
