we are currently flat the indexes within the neogann channel. the decision was made to close the longs yesterday while still preserving profits for the month from the initial long entries. one position is OPEN at this time--LONG SIRI from 5.83 and then added to on the way up.
my cyclical research is indicating that the equity markets will ( they probably have already) reach a several year bottom by the end of 2003. narrowing the scope by technical factors, it would be my best projection that the indexes will close higher at the end of the year then they started the year. i have a steak dinner bet with DAN M that this will be the case in the sp 500.
will be trading the index via the system untill execution either direction.

Why do you bet with people on market predictions? Isn't it enough of a thrill just to be in the market, betting which way it will move next?
I don't understand this competitive streak, where traders need to bet with other traders.
One would think the gambling we do every time we place a bet in the markets is sufficient. Why is there a need for a side bet on the real bet?
What are you trying to prove, and to whom?
