Doesn't anyone smell something fishy with this market today? VIX still negative, dollar getting crushed, 10yr keeps pushing new highs . . . maybe im just being paranoid??
 
looks like the rip tide threw some old lobster pots, crabs, and fishes up on the breakwater, and they have been decomposing in the spring sun

i am quite confident of a sustained rally in the market, therefore i am going to hold my long positions for now. currently, i am willing to risk a greater amount than normal due to cyclical and technical factors pointing to a HIGH probability rally. will actually be adding to the long positions building a capital base to maximize returns when rally commences. needless to say, i am still quite CONFIDENT and am trading my CONVICTIONS in a big way at this time.

i guess you think the war is not going to happen and all will end peacefully, or the economy will magically recover with the end of the war THREAT. . . or its a sentimental rally of epic proportions. . .such as the mid stage japanese rally, before
the fall continued. . . .

i thought so also this morning, but chose to sell to buy back much lower. . .

will be interesting. . . none the less. . . it could be the biggest bear market rally yet. . . if we get it. . .

2/13/03 bottom was a very strong signal of reversal upward...

2/25.03 Low was a Gann reversal....

2/26/03 Close was a Gann reversal...

Today's Close is also a Gann reversal signal...

But...

2/21/03 top was also a strong top... Major influence of that cycle hitting today...

Just based on Gann, I would be bullish also... I would stay bullish until the price breaks 1310ish, tomorrow or the Trendline from 2/13 to 2/25...

I think 2/13/03 is a Fib. bottom because of clean Time and Price Factor hitting it...

There's other esoteric stuff that supports the upward trend but anyways...

Surf's just following his methodolgy with confidence and that's what traders do, no matter the outcome...

Why not subscribe to the black swan theory, and buy some way out of the money puts just in case?
 
Why didn't you take the stop on the Naz? I thought your system got you in and out quick unless there was movement in your favor?
 
I think if you can take the pain down to 970 or so on the NDX you should be fine, but it seems like they'll want to at least take out the stops on last week's lows before INTC's update on thurs -- hopefully the tide turns big time after that!
 
LOL... what's with all this commotion(I think I spelled it wrong)???

Surf's done this quite a few times, and his results of trades like this have been positive, at most times...

Is everyone "bearish", that it hurts to see surf (who's very accurate with his calls) going against general consensus???

Give him some space...

Let him do his thing... Let the market tell its own story...
