longs were triggered for the second time in the djia and nasdaq. we are currently long both indexes from the upper channel figures going into tuesday's open.

Same here, got out and re-entered... It was a nice profit taking. I was skeptical about the 1st market resistance (Compx at 1415 lvl) because the next Angle was pretty far up (1423.5).

It's good I didn't go short after that...

Stalking flat is always good. Flat = No risk.
 
i am confidently holding longs here in nasdaq, djia, and msft. still expecting an up close. posting some intraday trades in chat room.

split market at the close. i am still long the nasdaq and djia, went flat msft. down a bit in djia, up a little in nasdaq and holding longs overnight, once again. per system

This counter trend is getting real close to main trend,your friend.:cool: Actually today I exspected more of a pullback in DIA,SPY,QQQ family.

My favorite techs were to extended to hold tonite ; however that is a sign of strength with those shallow pullbacks.
 
hi,

i had a splitting headache yesterday and stayed mostly in bed. i am still long the nasdaq and djia. when i entered, i made the decision to let the positions ride a bit on the downside, being that i am sized correctly to safely take a larger than normal move against the positions. i am STILL expecting to profit from this trade, even though obviously my cyclical research is at least 2 days out of kilter. will advise asap when (if) i close these longs.

yes ! cyclical analysis proved correct though late, long positions now positive after a harrowing wednesday. holding longs above channel figures into friday. expecting dow to retest the 8997 level soon.

Hope you feel better. Hi Hunter & family.:cool: Figure since you mentioned [ page 1] you trade QQQ you can have a wider [& still safe] stop than ;me trading a smaller basket of tech stocks , which are more volatile.

Glad I bought to cover my telecom shorts 1-2-03; this strong counter trend is about to trend perhaps in to the main trend your friend. Interesting, the smaller positions of gold stocks look strong also.
