Surf,

May I ask why you have not identified the contract month for your crude short, and why you have ignored JSSPMK's question in this regard?

i am no longer able to speak about personal specifics regarding individual trades. i can continue to provide my ideas, opinions and suggestions, for the time being-----fortunately.

regards,

surf

You cannot discuss specifics about individual trades, but you can give your exact entry prices roughly at the time of entry, as well as the average entry price resulting from multiple entries?! Umm, okay...

I can only guess that you haven't been around at the time of one of surf's famous rollovers. I just wanted to pin him down to the contract should he hold the position for any length of time and then decide to roll it into the following contract month. The past couple of rollovers in positions he held were rather murky. (I'm being tactful.)

Meanwhile, surf can tell you everything he is doing, including his entry timing and entry prices...but not the actual contract month...? What was that about common sense?

offering suggestions only. what i do here is irrelevant, sorry. only thing that matters is what you do--take it or leave it.....

thank you,

surf

ps. hope you are following the YM channel today--- a short journey above the upper line yielded profits for nimble long traders, now a collapse in price is profitable for short entries. would suggest holding shorts over the weekend if price remains below lower channel line.

You know, surf, when you talk from both sides of your mouth it comes across a lot like Surround Sound.

P.S. Kindly bear in mind that this is your journal. If you are going to take the time to keep a journal then at least do it properly. Otherwise, what is the point? No one is asking you about your entry and exit criteria. That's your own business. However, for a journal to have any value, it should at least have a proper accounting of trades. Otherwise, and again, what is the point?

I have to agree with that. This journal has become a pathetic and irrelevant expression of your inability to trade, I am sorry to say. Since last March it has been pretty obvious that you don't trade the posted trades, which is fine as long as it is stated as such.

So I am saying goodbye to this thread and resigning from the accountant position, because I don't want to go to ET's jail for fraud! :) (yes, those imaginary rollovers)

ok sounds good to me.

if you don't find value here then by all means don't waste your time or mine.

this journal is kept in the spirit of mutual self improvement not to prove anything to anyone.

all the best

surf

Why are you suggesting this on a Saturday?

Quote from marketsurfer:

suggest short OIL, short YM into monday.

in addition--GOLD, i believe, is in for some shake and bake soon, stay tuned for (re) fined tuning on this one....

regards,

surf:D
