If you look through THIS thread I have made 5 calls over 4 years. Four were spot on and one, the crude was early with a tight stop for a small and I mean small loss. If you search my posts over the last 3 months that percentage is even better. To me here in this thread it's 80% not 50% but you are the one with the statistics fetish. If you can't be accurate . . . don't say anything at all.

Drop your exaggerations in my direction. I'm done.

You're overlooking the fact that smurf only calculates wins and losses. The extent of each is none of his concern. Which is a good thing, considering.

LMAO, he uses a spread betting binary firm to clear his trades ... :p

1/2 of trade closed @ 1479.75 for a 4pt proft ... :D , 1/2 of trade held with a +2 tick protective stop over initial entry, looking for the high of 1492.25 to be challenged (but note as in all good trading, I've locked in my gains and protected the rest of my principal).

BTW, does this count as a LIVE CALL Thunderdog?

Good trading,

JJ
The trade isn't going to make it up there by 4:15pm ET, so I'll close the remainder @ 1481.75 as well, for a +5pt gain across the board ... :D :D :D schweet.

To misquote pekelo "A good LIVE CALL is better than a BAD ONE any day!" ... :D

Now, why did I take that trade?

The TRIN showed buying, the TICK showed support coming in, the Bankers held strong and price action bounced off of its fib retracement like a handball on a hard court (see chart).

It's pretty obvious that some people around here know what they're doing, and others simply haven't got a clue.

Tell me overtooled, what does it feel like to be completely owned  .

Good trading,

JJ

P.S. Surf is still down over 250 YM pts, he can't free up his capital for other opportunities, and the uptrend remains intact ... sheesh - if this were a job, somebody would be fired!

lookin good surf. we go down hard from here

Checking out the timestamp, that's when the market bottomed and right after this post rallied 120+ points. Ouch!

So please keep the cheerleading to a minimum until the position is closed....

By the way it was Pekelo's 2nd gap law on the SPX right to the tick and once the gap was filled it went right back up. Pretty predictable...

Nice trade, JJ. You seem quite excited. I do hope you manage to get a good night's sleep amid all of this excitement. Regardless, not bad.
Yeah T-Dog, I got emo with overtooled's constant trash-talk and his comments that showed he actually doesn't know what the hell he's talking about when it comes to trading, so I had to come back at 'em.

Thanks for the props, and I apologize for pissing you off.

Good trading,

JJ

The amount of ego driven drivel that has run up the page count about other people's trading style on this thread is about as childish as adults can get. . . . and from a psychological point of view, you can't tell me that money doesn't inspire narcissistic behavior in the absence of real life. . .

But just to add some humor, as I am glad that surf doesn't take the drivel bait most times. . . should surf go all in below?
