Surf, you asked for the stats, I actually looked up yesterday just was too lazy to post it. In the last 10 years the days before Thanksgiving 8 were bullish, 1 flat and one down.

Wish you luck, what is the stop loss?

thanks pekelo. im "all in" here and not able to average into this one. stops are wide, as i'm expecting substantial downside.

projections still indicating down or flat close today. we will see.

sounds predictive.

holding YM shorts into tuesday.

If you are defining "predictive" as IF the close is greater than the open and continues, THEN price will rise, or IF the close is less than the open and continues, THEN price will fall, I would have to agree with you, it is very predictive and something that you are sorely lacking in your "trading" here.

Good luck with those Shorts that you got in on at the bottom of yesterday's drop, BTW ... :D

holding. in this for the long run, hopefully!

Hey Prof Logic, where are you man, you gotta see this!

Market Surfer went "ALL-IN" on his YM Short at the very bottom of the downward cycle.

This is exactly what he did in a previous trade that you mentioned years ago (but of course he claimed that he didn't).

Wow!, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it.

Just unbelieveable,

JJ

Yeah, I woke up late and caught the 2nd buy (with the market in mildly bullish conditions, I knew it would be OK), got my 2pts in the ES and now I'm off to get some coffee - wish it were this easy every day :) .

Good trading,

...And as far as T-Dog is concerned, never seen him trade so I have no idea what he's even doing here. :D :D :D
Obviously, a man is not a trader until he shows his trades to someone whose opinion has absolutely no bearing on the trader's livelihood. The more arbitrary the request for trading details, the more important it is for the trader to provide such information at once. Otherwise, what's he doing here, eh? :p

As an aside, JJ, I have never actually read any of your real time calls with specific entry prices immediately at the time of, or before, actual entry, followed by full and timely disclosure of time and price of exit. Rather, I have only seen vague references to your trades somewhat after the fact. No doubt, if I search more carefully, I would find all those essential details proving that you are, indeed, a noteworthy ET trader.

Plenty on the ES Thread, which is more than you can say Mr. "I trade breakouts", LMAO, Market Surfer's new boy wonder. :D

Cheers you two!

And I have no doubt that they are splendid examples of your inimitable acumen in that very thread. As it happens, I just did a quick check of your posts this month thus far (November), and have not seen any such sparkling examples in the ES thread. Is November perhaps a vague month for you? Perhaps you could direct me to a few suitable posts in the ES thread that would serve as examples of your fine work and ease my growing curiosity.

Ah, I see that you have added to your post. I NEVER trade breakouts at the high or low. NEVER. Is that still a bit vague for you? Shall I write it again?

What could possibly have led you to believe that I trade breakouts? And what makes you think that marketsurfer and I see the markets in even a remotely similar manner?
