Quote from Pekelo:

Since the YM is 13240ish, all I want to know if we can finally open the champagne, because Surf has just booked a nice profit, although... Hell, why spoil the moment?

Good for you Surf!

Has he actually locked in gain?

At this point, I don't know. He is either celebrating with Annaland or he moved the stop loss and gave back 50% of the profits, which was about 700 points...

I guess because of the ambiguity of this journal we can never be sure... :(

yes, the stops were exe\x\cuted booking nice profits. still holding LULU long.

annaland and i live in a constant celebratory state--- looking great right now in her new joe's jeans.

see you tomorrow.

much love,

surf

Well, I guess I am the official accountant here. :)

Quote from JSSPMK:

What was his total gain on this one (if booked) and what were his previous losses, if you know?

The gain was 687-207 = 480 YM points, but let's quietly note that he did gave back 220 points unrealized profits.

YTD he should be up maybe 3-400 points, because I think he was slightly in the red after the Fed's fiasco. Surf can correct me on this one, we never got an exact exit price.

Hey Surf, how about some pics of the celebration? No shirts required (and here I refer to Annaland, not you)! :)

P.S.: Had he played the ES, he would have made an extra 10%, but hey, 50 pts here or there, who cares, right???

Good job Surf.

Now, moving on to the next trade (because a trader is only as good as his/her last trade :p ) OIL is looking pretty topish.

Good trading,

JJ
