Well, you had a NICE hundred points out of it at 2 pm.....and incredibly, this stupid market is trying to rally once again despite $90 crude oil.
Dunno...it appears the bulls are hanging onto their Bernanke put options with great confidence.

Quote from JimmyJam:

That's funny Pekelo, I don't remember insulting you, point-in-fact I've supported you...

So we are friends, right? Wouldn't you want your friends to be HONEST with you?

Bringing up offtopic bullshit is not my style, so go and look at the charts:

Had Surf taken that 100 YM when he was up and switched to long yesterday, he would be UP 300 YM points, as I advised him to do so (before it happened). Instead he has been holding and right now, he is sligthly in the red after averaging in 3-4 times.

On the other hand, my Journal admitedly not real money, but it is up 26 ES points with 4 trades this week with not particulary good trading. I told Surf long time ago, he would be better off just copying the trades...

So I hope you don't mind the honesty, we are still friends, right? :)

P.S.: When and if I do something STUPID, I expect you to call me on it, instead of uncritical support. That's my expectation of a friend...

P.S.S.: Calling a trade good BEFORE it is closed AND when it is in the red IS stupid. :)

Spoken like a true paper trader. By the time the trade confirmed the move was already well on its way.

With an attitude like this, you're going to continue trading on your lonely little Journal, where you've pretty much been in solitary, for the past couple of months.

Pekelo's Lonely Path

I see why it isn't the most popular J on the site.

Good trading (on your paper trading Journal),

JJ

P.S.

Jimmy, you are hurting my feelings... :(

That's what I get from a FRIEND??

Yeah and the trade is right now -30 and I am expecting a rally for tomorrow. God help Surf that I would be wrong....

P.S.: I am done with offtopic bickering with someone else's journal...

Edit: Snap, it is -60 now...

Surf, I will save you the "I told you so", but I am curious what the masterplan or stop loss is? The position is -100 pts, or as JimmyJam would say, "great trading", and if we go flat Mo-Tu before the FOMC as usual and Ben gives us a rate cut, you are going to be SCREWED.

We all remember how the last time turned out when you had a position BEFORE FOMC....

P.S.: Jimmy, my best friend whom I lost to stupidity is on Ignore, so there won't be personal bickering...

Ouch, that feels like a papercut ... :p

This one was posted in another thread, so it isn't entirely fair to bring it up here, but sure you asked for it:

Quote from marketsurfer:

come on TA guys, can't even tell if a market will close up or down, with any consistency??

Sure I can. I can also consistently tell when you are getting rammed by the market, like now. The trade is comfortably -210 in the red and no stop loss in sight. :(

Also the trade moved 400 points against you while you basicly shorted into an UPTREND, of course, if you would recognize such a thing's existence....

I wish you the best, but this is no way to manage a trade. Praying for a rate rise???

Whatever gave you the idea that smurf's trades were not paper trades as well? You think anyone trading with real money would trade as badly as he does?

Good point. On the other hand he seemed to be genuienly depressed after the last loss. Would papertrading effect one so badly??

P.S.: My other question never answered: What is the purpose of this journal?

OK, now the posts are entering the realm of the surreal.

At one point Market Surfer was nailing his trades left and right, and it actually used to have a very high readership and was one of the more entertaining Journals on the thread, something yours can't seem to accomplish no matter how aggressively you go about shouting and proclaiming your trading expertise for all of ET to hear. :p ... LMAO.
