Just returning from a late late night excursion to the edge of mainland china with the raven haired co-conspirator. Heated Negotiations took place, with the natives, for several exceedingly rare trinkets. The USD finally won favor with the elders and, fortunately, everything ended in a jovial time for all with my eastern euro companion quite happy with the trades.
Dinner was then partaken with the local contingent of euro trash spending their trust funds with abandon. Vain discussions centered on who had the coolest cell phone with yours truly, of course, winning hands down that challenge. Food was good, albeit nuevo cuisine with tiny portions and too much french flair. however the carrot or cardboard cake was bland and dry. therefore, presently scarfing down a club sandwich within the relative safety of the 4th floor of the western Hyatt. It's nice to be back among freedom and law loving colleagues.
Seeing the street level economy, in action, triggered some thoughts regarding oil. It appears that the time to short is athand---the GO SHORT level is 80.97. The plan is to make up to 3 entries, averaging in every 1.50, the trade moves adversely, with stops at 87.03.

Edge of mainland china, humm.... would guess either Hong Kong or Shenzhen depending on which side of China your at.
The restaurant looks Hong Kong (there is an actual working exit sign and the place looks clean) so I will guess your on the island. I hope you had a good time, the flight sure is a bitch ( I usually fly coach over the pond) If you havent yet, and your over there again you should consider Shanghai as the nightlife is just as good and you can live like a rock star at about 1/3 the cost of Hong Kong.
