That's all fine and dandy, but then maybe you should address your comments directly at surfer. This guy lives to rebuke other strategies and traders who differ from himself. Just read his 10,000 posts for a sample. Judge not, lest ye be judged!

Not only that, he starts entire threads on how strategies which differ from his are "dead".

His style works for him? If the defintion of working = losing money then I agree with you.

He is not a good trader -- and there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is when one acts as if he is.

I see you couldn't step up to the challenge, I thought so....

Let me give you and Surf a positive example how one can use constructive criticism:

In the ES Journal a few of us were bitching about Saxon's trading style (not because we hate him, but because we didn't want to see him going down), because even though profitable, sooner or later it was due for a big DD. You know what happened?

Instead of sticking to his style, Saxon actually took our advice and changed his style!!! No more 3 packs sleepless nights for him with 15K DDs.

The moral of the story (I know, I have to spell it out for you) that criticism can be used in a positive way....

P.S.: Feel free to back up my journal with real money, it is consistently profitable. 1 contract for each 10K would give you 70% YTD... :cool:
 
Just to say what a gang of jackals! All ready to mock surfer when he is down with his last trades, just like they didn't wait for anything else....and no word when he posted winning trades for a long time....always the same ..envy and cowards all over the world.. what a miserable show.....sorry to live not in NY and to speak not english well to improve my trading with men like surfer..
