another not so nice day in the market at the surf shack. stops came within 2 points of being hit on a quicky vertical explosive move--although the 3 minute rule is still in full effect, it was close close call. maintaining shorts here.

In my not so humble opinion, each day is full of opportunity. If you find a day in the market is "not so nice" clearly it is because you have yet to find an orientation that allows you to fully enjoy it.

As you pointed out, it is not fun to wait for stops to get hit. To be serious for a moment, a big part of your problem is that you have a negative attitude about trading in general. for myself I view getting stopped out as a sign that I am getting closer to a nice profitable trade. In order to sustain that attitude, I have to have confidence in my system, and a history of solid performance. Fortunately I do..

Now I think that a smart person reading these comments would be able to figure it out. I wonder if you have what it takes. Certainly you have a real challenge ahead of you if you ever want to do more than "pray for rain".

If I were in your position, I would stop right about here and go get a copy of "Mind over Markets...". Then perhaps for the first time in your life you would have only one thing left to do. LEARN.

Good luck
Steve

With apologies to Jim Croce....

And everybody say
Surf, don't you know
You don't tug on superman's cape
You don't piss into the wind
You don't pull the mask off the ol' lone ranger
And you don't mess around with Mr. Market
