as you can guess, we took a hit on the long trade and our short term analysis was quite wrong. its time to take a break! going flat and sitting out for a bit.

since the giving holidays are upon us, just wanted to share an organization that is doing tremendously positive things in the lives of people all over the world. microfinance is the impetus to change lives in an exceedingly positive manner without the feeling of giving a handout to a lazy sod. just $100.00 can enable someone to launch/maintain an enterprise which may lead to better lives for entire families/groups. i see person to person microfinance as being an incredible opportunity to actually elicit positive change. this is my giving back project of choice for 2007:
