Proflogic, do you do this in your journal as well?

Do you do this in your journal trollente?

Oh wait, that was the one where if the S&P hit a certain number you were going to leave, like, forever?

Forever is pretty short, isn't it?

The things some people will do for attention ..., hey you've found the perfect new home.

Have I ever started anything in your journal ? Or anyone's journal for that matter ? The fact is you are doing the same exact thing in surf's journals that someone did in your journal but now you are being a hipocrite about it.

Hey, I forgot about that . . . hell must have frozen over.

It is his journal he is free to do what he wants in it. Just like you do in yours. If you don't like it, put him on ignore. Not too long ago someone starting posting BS in your journal and you did not like it yet you come into someone elses and do the same exact thing.

Actually, I'm not posting BS.

The trades are very different, if there is no EGO attachment to the results, then posting them shouldn't be a big deal, especially seeing as how they do have a rather controversial element to them.

Hey, why am I discussing this with a ghost?

The ignore idea is a good one.

Later,

Quote from Thunderdog:

Hmm. I suppose it is a matter of perspective. Individual trades should be evaluated on their own merit, to be sure. But traders should probably not be evaluated in such isolation. Personally, I would think that a trader's performance is better evaluated by the sum of his trades rather than on any of his individual trades. With enough time, anyone can call a "good" trade. A successful trader is someone who is profitable on balance.

Frankly, I don't know what surfer's cumulative results are, and I don't really care since I do not post mine. I was just commenting on your observation.

My point is these pessimistic people are dwelling in the past, with blinders on and only see the bad trades when there have been plenty of good trades. My point is that surf does not dwell on mistakes that he has made, he moves own and keeps on trading. If you are stuck in the past, you will never move forward dog.

Like you stayed out of mine?

Is this true surf ?

Do you have a link Proflogic showing surf attacking you in your journal ? Perhaps I need to rethink my opinion of surf.

Quote from volente_00:

Why ? Did you actually have your first losing trade ?

I have them, I just don't "bet" on them. I never predict specific prices where the market is going, just directions.
