as you know the DJIA broke 12k and the world is bullish on the US indexes--- i am remaining bearish and added to the DJIA shorts today @ 120.10--- this extreme sentiment can't last long and i expect a nice drop soon.

I think he is great entertainment.
Whenever I am down, I look in to see what his latest fantasy position is. I picture him sitting at home with a big paper hat on his head, typing away at the keyboard "No problem folks, I am just "early".... and inevitably I can't help but laugh. Where else can you obtain that kind of comic relief?

Reminds me of a guy who once had a journal going and was saying to short the S&P back in the 1160's back in April of 2005. Except this guy could not take the heat when he was wrong and cried to have his journal closed after only a few weeks.

i dont understand the insistence on shortin' this mkt that in all effects is a freight train. the bull is somethin' different this time, wonder why surf dont adjust and stay on the sidelines durin' strong trends...he could give back most of his gains with this stubbornness if he didn't already. look at the bottom in 2003 and the massive run up..if history repeat itself this bull is less than half way trough.

It makes me nauseous to see that record of shorts having made that mistake myself many more times than i care to remember (in part I think because one of my formative trading experiences was the crash of 87). However, I also know what it is like to be on the losing side of a trade for a long while like that and it is bad enough without having people kick you when you are down.
MS, not sure what indictors you have been using for these shorts but they are not working too well, I think you need to reevaluate. The easy money for those without a bias the last few months has been made on the long side, maybe it will be on the short side soon enough (though I haven't seen any indication of it yet, I mostly trade off the weekly and monthly charts).
Keep at it MS, just do it smarter and without a short bias (or macro opinion, unless you are trading such a big position that you need weeks to get in and out). My returns significantly improved when I got rid of my macro opinions (which in many cases turned out to be correct in the long run but my timing was way off) and the notion that my opinion of what true value represented was in some way relevant to the rest of the market.

thanks everyone for the feedback. i am far from perfect and unlike proflogic admit my errors--as you know, proflogic has a near perfect record of trades as touted on his website for several years. And yes, he will teach you these methods for the tidy sum of $2500.00. seriously--folks,surfers, and surfettes--- perfection in trading does not exist. its surprising to me that someone can preach trading perfection and get away with it.
