Regarding Your Comments on Yahoo



Many of you have been asking me about Yahoo. Please remember I am in the middle of a proxy fight. A proxy fight involves a complicated process of SEC approvals, federal securities laws, filing requirements and a great deal of time and money.

Very fitting for this bear market and extremely appropriate for a confirmed bear like Surf !
Also...1975 ? Wasn't the nadir of one of the worst bear markets in history ?
The parallels here are a bit spooky.

Leases are generally acquired on speculation. After they are acquired, they are explored first by surface masurements like seismic and resistivity. Then the decision is made whether to spend millions on drilling exploratory holes for more accurate information. Not every lease has oil, not all oil is economically retrievable. A bill that prevents a company from future acquisitions is not really viable. A lease should be for a set period of time (if not developed), not indefinately in my opinion. Change the law to make that happen.

This is in the manner of Joan Miro, however i have never seen to this degree of expression so not 100% sure. This is out of Canavas on top of what seems to be a fine peice of art behind it?
