... combined with overwhelmingly bullish signals from the other indicie (NQ, YM), the Internals (VXO, TRIN) and the Bankers, all I could do was sit and watch my Long positions make money, there really wasn't much else to do on the trading end of things.

It wasn't impenetrable code to her, she had already figured out the basics, I just clarified a few things for her.
It's not rocket science, it's just good money and risk management concepts, any/everyone could implement it as they saw fit if they knew how, and the results would be the same as anekedoten's AHG thread on trading, all of the results would be unique to the individual trader.
