Surf,

Just a quick note to extend my apologies for contributing to the recent pollution of your thread. As you know, we disagree on a host of issues and will invariably continue to do so. Further, I will continue to take you to task where I think it is appropriate. However, my recent exchanges on your thread with JimmyJam were neither relevant nor funny. One of us had gotten unhinged and I will leave it to you and other readers to decide on who that was. One of us lied blatantly, profusely and repeatedly while the other took excessive umbrage. (I have a thing about lying and liars who lie.) And it all occurred in your back yard. Going forward (or even backward -- that's up to you) you may wish to complain and have such stupid posts deleted from your thread.

In any event, I hope you do not view my critical posts as equivalent to, or on the same level as, JimmyJam's incessant ranting. I may criticize your logic or the internal consistency of your own arguments from time to time, but not your actual trade performance for my own personal aggrandizement, as certain other posters are apt to do. I hope you can appreciate the difference.

Classy apology Thundy.

Anyway, let's go back to business. Hey Surf, you never really addressed my idea of using ES except that you are more comfortable with YM. Today is a good example of better returns:

YM is down -180
ES is down -28

That is a very decent 50% difference, and as long as you are right, it is extra money in your pocket.

LOL

All I said was that you're a breakout trader (which later proved to be wrong, you trade Higher Lows and Lower Highs using a cold fusion technique ...) :p

You then cursed me out on this thread, started a new one (which was promptly deleted) and then came back here and dove face first into the gutter.

Yeah, you're right, it's obviously one of us is unhinged, I'm glad you admit it.

i don't believe you have.

however, here's another chance, post the real time calls here on the "surf report" so that they may be documented and followed.

no phony past chart trades allowed---only the charts HARD RIGHT EDGE need apply, no typical proflefty style.

best wishes my O hi O friend,

surf
More chuckles.

Prof, leave surf and his retinue of paper traders alone.

Belive me, he's going to give his paper profits back before he books them in his notebook ledger.

Btw Surf, I went back and read earlier posts on the Surf Report. It seems as though you were really actively trading and hitting alot of reversals back in 2002. Do you find that you've changed or is it some fundamental change in how markets trade? (we've got lots of volatility here as we did in 2002 but seems you dont' trade way you did back then).

Quote from marketsurfer:

holding YM shorts here. embrace the vol!

happy turkey day week!
