Surf,

Whoever is providing you with trading instructions (whichever "we" may be involved), I suggest that you beat them with a stick. If you still see them moving, beat them some more. If they try to speak, beat them again.

I hope this helps.

I second that (to a certain degree), I'll explain why. It is a shame that you oppose classical TA as that exact TA on short term charts would enable you make better entries, nobody likes DDs :)

whoa, stop level came very very close--touching but not breaking by the parameters. i am still in the position, holding at this time. we'll see what happens.

im the one who needs to be beat with a stick for almost ALWAYS being early on entry....

But Surf, we all know that it cannot last....I mean the Fed's moves will likely be disappointing....as they can't keep letting the US dollar crash.
At best, we are headed for stag-flation.....hi PE ratios do not thrive in that environment.
13k - even remains a huge support level that once taken-out will cause some angst. No massive pain however, till 12,500 is gone.
Then the boomer panic will set-in.

thanks, wiz. im expecting a patriotic rally early next week at a minimum. after that, no clue....

Surf, you really have to stop acting without my personal advice. You just went long when I predicted live in the chatroom that more downmove was coming. You went long a 100 points and 2 hours early...

entered full large position in YM YM 13199, 200, 202

holding longs here.

Pekelo (Sep 7, 2007 1:39:03 PM)
comes the 2 pm meltdown

Pekelo (Sep 7, 2007 2:59:03 PM)
so how is my short before 2 pm and hold into 3;30 sounds?

Pekelo (Sep 7, 2007 2:59:16 PM)
for SDD that is

Today had a pattern I call Step Down Day and the LOD is usually around 3:30 or later, so anybody trying to go long specially for longterm, is wise to do so only after 3:30.

P.S; Some extra predictions:

Pekelo (Sep 7, 2007 10:34:21 AM)
1455 is a good place to go long

Pekelo (Sep 7, 2007 11:09:52 AM)
for the ES I would say the range is 1455-1463
(talking about the 3 hours sideways move)
