yes, i closed my eur/usd short at the announcement today for profits. yeah, it is very similar to the glory days.

The move took everybody by surprise, including, SBC, PFG, and us. Since our charting runs off of the currenex feed, we can preset our entries outside the "noise", and like a patient Viper wait for the trade to come to us.

It is amazing seeing the difference between the charts using the currenex feed compared to the composite feed, the composite feed has all of the noise from fxcm etc. But the currenex is relatively noise free. We were anticipating a Fed dove move in the EUR, but not of this magnitude.

yeah, i bet. i run a composite of 5 dealers and am able to estimate volume based on frequency. would like to take a look at the currenex direct feed. thanks for the info!

SURF ALERT:



SHORT OIL ---- 73.50


the programs indicate that this is a good price to start shorting oil. the strategy is to enter 2 additional times if needed, expecting sub 70. this is a speculative position based on some esoteric cycle work combined with a" rumour". keeping position small for now.


the DJIA longs are continuing to perform nicely. holding here.

the market is being held-up while there's an awful lot of sell'in going on here - take a look at the internals, might be time to start prun'in the tree soon.

As a short term trade...it looks fine to me. However looking at the daily, looks like you might be early again. BTW, nice trade on the YM, are you still holding?
 
thanks, jj and mike. yeah, i am still holding both postions and plan on it into next week baring any shocks.... i will let the YM's fluctuate a little before i sell.
