as a further note, we took nice profits in the dollar long trade, and are still expecting further strength. will re-enter shorts in the eur/usd soon--- expecting sub 1.2000 shortly. in our opinion the euro has seen its peak and will decend, albeit erratically, to sub 1.1700 within 600 calender days from today.

well, our early morning entries into the past glory stocks of PEIX and PLUG turned out to be busts. took small losses in both these names.


we entered short in the DJIA upon breakage of the lower channel and am holding overnight. overall not a good day here.

i am entering the first set of shorts in the eur/usd pair at 1.2165 (long dollar).

thanks everyone for reading the 'surf report'.

i have decided to close the report on elite and this will be my final post on the report. remember to think for yourself in the market and trade what you think, not what you see as charts can be very deceiving.

welcome to the continued surf report where one can monitor my evolution or devolution as a trader/money manager.

have decided to reopen the surf report due to multiple requests. as documented on my previous surfers$$journal--- we experienced a bit of a drawdown in a currency trade and shorting the DJIA several days early. sticking to the analysis and holding thru the drawdown resulted in nice profits in the DJIA trade. i am presently flat across the board--- slightly profitable on the year due to the currency loses---considered longs over the weekend in indexes, but upon further research, determined to stay flat for now. will advise as the market unfolds what the plan will be.
