the upper gann line bounced the down back down here and we were stopped out at a small loss. back flat again.

the dow stayed within the channel today and we are FLAT currently. the nasdaq broke thru the lower channel figure firing shorts @ 2127--currently short nasdaq.

TKTX short is back in profits after flirting with our stop loss this morning. short from 13.34

Wasn't the previous channel high at 10606? Shouldn't there have been a long above that?

i am not sure what you mean. the channel figures ( price) change in relation to time. however, i dont recall a 10606 figure at all---

neogann trading channels for 2004--1st
greetings,

we have determined the surfer gann channels on the DJIA and NASDAQ. the DJIA channel is 10603--10363--- the system states long above, short below and flat in the middle. we are currently short the DJIA outside of system at this time. we will take losses , stop out and reverse at 10603--untill then--staying short.

the NASDAQ CHANNEL is 2077--2123. our earlier stated stop figure of 2121 was hit today, but was not broken therefore we are still SHORT. even though, i am losing money in both the shorts at this time, i am psyched that the figure of 2121 was the high--our gann stop figure. if 2121 is broken, we go FLAT and then LONG once 2123 breaks.

i still trust my analysis and believe this is topping action in the indexes. however, i will not hesitate to trade the system whatever way should the shorts be stopped out.

ok, thanks. unfortunately, as you know, i started the year second guessing my own system and going by other analyse to my own defeat. you are correct, following the system would have placed you long above 10603. i redetermined the channels hence the new figures for this time frame. sorry for the confusion.

thus far today the DJIA has bottomed EXACTLY on the lower channel figure of 10523. if it breaks--- short city here we come !
