The Surf Report--part 2

Quote from R. Raskolnikov:

Nah, many people glad to see Surf go. He possessed a lethal combination of arrogance and a lack of market understanding. If he, in fact, had ANY fans, I'm sure they can find his blog and follow him there. As for ET, it's much better off with the Surfer.

Ditto

Ha! Yeah that was CLEARLY a mistype....no one in their right mind actually thinks Surfer was a worthwhile member here (no offense Rod) :p

Regardless, he is gone and many of us are quite content with that development.

Quote from Rodney King:

At least that much you & I can agree on.

Quote from Rodney King:

Surf's many, many friends and readers.

I LOL'd at that one.

Although I'll admit, I did find him amusing and followed this journal for the drama. His almost live calls where not very credible and I did witness him editing one after the fact, and not the same one that others reported. With that and his 'I went short at the high of the last bar' type calls, I got the impression that this journal was not entirely honest.

Really? Wow, that's despicable. Good thing his butt was kicked out of here! :)

Well, as I said, I doubt it was an isolated incident and this is another example of it.

Despicable? Not necessarily. Since he's not here to defend himself, I should point out that adding material details at a later time could be entirely innocent, but obviously gives the journal little credibility as a track record.

On the other hand he did ET a great service by getting proflogic banned. :)

Huh? Surf was never a moderator. He couldn't "ban" anyone or "get anyone banned." Not his call to make.

Doesn't matter now one way or another now. Surf is long gone and that's good by me. :)
