The Surf Report--part 2

Quote from marketsurfer:

Yes, I actually did sample your bagels. I did not like them, there is a taste in the dough ( not sure if its too little salt, sugar or what) but they taste rather bland to me. They do look great, but the taste :( However, I am well aware that I am in the minority and most love them. By the way Annaland agrees with me on the taste.

Then what you prefer is clearly something other than real bagels: rancid also-ran dough remnants with me-too holes in them; imposter bagels; decoys. Perhaps you also prefer the taste of wax fruit over the real thing. Heathen. :p

Staying short in the ES---- It's a very tough call as to what way this thing is going to break. The odds are now 51% for the 1300 level to break on the downside--- its very iffy. bullish and bearish news, data and info is evenly spaced with a very slight downward bias. surf

Clearly surferboy knows more about trading than about bagels.:D

I love bagels, but clearly, you can't make bagels without salt--- the dough is too dense and blah tasting in Montreal.

However, I would like to see the Montreal cooking style applied to real bagel dough--- that has the potential of being perfect.

David Einhorn had some interesting things to say about MSFT and Steve Ballmer at yesterday's conference in NYC. He called Ballmer Charlie Brown stating he should be removed as CE0---In addition to very bullish comments

I am looking at the MSFT September 28 calls -- any thoughts?

Please let me know when you learn the difference between a bagel and a bun with a hole in the middle. Geez. Are you as adept at trend trading? :)

Quote from marketsurfer:

Thanks, Prado. You are one of the real traders on this site.
Yeah, you are exactly correct, marketsurfer bravado is performance art and stchck----- while I do believe in all the trades-- the hype is just that, hype--- makes trading more enjoyable for me, and hopefully for the readers.

By the way, I had bagels every morning for several weeks at a place, I think near you, Brooklyn Bagels (FANTASTIC) even better than the real thing--- I'll let you know next time I am in town.

I think once people get past the "bravado" they will chill. I know I used to bust your balls all the time (and if you start attacking my great friends the trend followers I will start again), but respect the fact that you talk about both the winning AND the losing trades.

There is a Brooklyn bagels 5 min from me. Place is great. Like being back up in the NJ/NYC area again...........

+ 1

(oh I'm still going to bust his balls :) )

I am back from vacation. Nice holding Surf and I am glad finally you took some gains.
I really don't get why people keep bringing up years old shit. I mean I might agree with them, but for fuck's sake, give it a rest. Just criticize the current trade or debate his approach to trading. Anyhow, I won't be posting here much, it makes me feel dirty.

Oh yes, I rated the thread 5 stars just to piss some people off, and the rating average went up by 1 star!!!

Again, nice holding Surf and enjoy the summer...
