The Surf Report--part 2

Quote from marketsurfer:

I believe you would be better served by starting your own published journal

Probably, but then this journal would be worthless. :)

I understand making correct predictions using TA annoys you and disproves your misbelief regarding that great "illustrating tool", but such is life....

Somehow, somewhere, Surf lost his bearings. I think people were in his ear, or he took a very severe drawdown, but his roots keep showing.:)

Quote from eudaemon:

to others: Once you realize that this thread is pure entertainment, and Surf is an internet millionaire that likes to write and gather attention with his recreational trading addiction, then all suffering starts to subside.

It was painful watching before, now it is pure joy.

Quote from Mike Okistini:

Short gold and short oil, both up strongly. Man you are the best fade trade.

I am going long 500 shares of SMRF. That is the ETF that tracks 2x the inverse of all your calls. Should be a lock!

SMRF is up another day as the ETF continues to fade Smurf's imaginary calls. I might add mroe SMRF on the next dip.

I wished Surf was at least a bit right as I'm waiting for a mild dip to buy before going into the week end but it ain't looking great...

So let's continue the TA education, after all we have a class here to graduate in June...

2days/5mins chart*, a text book example of channel breakout, then coming back to the channel top, where the previous resistance became support:

This morning, that 10 am low was an excellent point to go long (or closing the shorts), because that was yesterday's resistance. Sure enough, we bounced from there...

Slaves predict, kings react

You predictions are not worth $hit if you can't pull the trigger.

It would appear that surf is a slave to his head-on collision/predictions. Interesting how he thinks it's too late to react, as a matter of principle, but then allows a position to go long distance against him. His logic, such as it is, does not even have internal consistency. Meanwhile his trades seem to be more of a function of what is going on in his mind rather than what is going on in the market.
