The Surf Report--part 2

Hey ER,

Thanks! I really dont' have a macro reason for a longer term sell off, although your list is compelling. I believe there may be swift fast selling soon short term due to unloading from large specs and commercials--profit taking---

I remain bullish in the long term--- although I beleive the bull does not have legs, but that does not matter....

If you'd spent the last week or two listening to him rather than flaming him, you could afford a new card catalog...
Don't ever lose that sense of humor.

As an aside, you will note that my simple and straightforward question remains unanswered. Specifically:
Quote from Gabfly1:

You have still not provided a logical basis on how your true but fleeting edge can not only trade but actually predict prices in a market that you characterize as both random and very efficient, and one where you regularly compare price trends to the reliability of a series of coin flips. Your words.

I do not care about your edge. I don't want to know it. I merely want to know how your edge can possibly exist in the market environment that you describe.
Rodney, since you have taken on the role of marketsurfer's Smithers, perhaps you would care to answer for him?

Quote from EMRGLOBAL:

Makes sense surf. Shorting the US market is not worth the risk.

Buying the dips or sell offs on a % level works out so far.

Absolutely, the upward drift in us stocks is a force that demands respect.

There is no edge available in the ES or QM presently. Therefore, no trades will be made with the account staying FLAT until the next clear opportunity emerges.

Regards,

Perhaps it was getting name checked on the London Time's Most Precarious List way back in the day?

:D :D
No, I just had the impression that your post in question, which I had quoted in my post, was penned by someone else, because your previous (and subsequent) posts are somewhat more unevenly written. But you know me: live and let live. :D
