I'm getting hammered. Left work early. At the bar now :D

I've seen enough earnings spikes ATH to lock in profit. Almost always the best price is when people try to jump on board after they missed the boat (that was me when I started trading).

This one is holding on good volume, I might have jumped the gun. Very happy from a risk standpoint though. Definitely did the trade right even if I left money on the table.

like 2008, when all the geniuses who thought buying every single dip was profitable, and they ended up in the dustbin the first time the market cracked :D

Man, I got so tied up with AAPL and SQ releases I forgot TAP also released today...a bit schizophrenic on the chart, and a miss on the earnings, but looks promising so far.

So today was a world class bomb for me. I do take a tiny bit of solace in this prediction about SQ though. Ran up .20 in the last 2 mins to close at 26.46

Oh, that's a nice consolation. SQ missed on earnings, but beat on revenue.

Should be enough to keep it above my $27 short call. Tomorrow is looking good.
