Too many mistakes too count today, im quitting down 400 because i know if i keep trading this is just going to get stupid.
GIII had it absolutely nailed premarket on my first 400 shares, an hour and a half before open then tried to buy it twice more would have had 800 shares an average of about 24.50, would have most likely taken a buck out of it, cause if it gave me a buck pre market would have taken it, and was caught sleeping acidentally sold my whole position, when i was trying to enter buys to add to it. Missed by 1 tick trying to reenter at like 24.36 on the first roll over premarket.
I actually traded it well the second time tried dip buying it at 24.60 playing off 24.40 level from premarket, and it just felt incredibly weak, got out for a small profit, and didnt have any interest in it at that point.

JNUG, tried just a tiny starter the first time, and basically scratched it lost like 40 bucks then decided to load up 2k shares of it when there was that massive breakdown on GLD off the open off the top, cause ive seen GLD fail on these gap ups into resistance so many times. Chased it Got way to big in JNUG when i know thats something the odds arent as good, also i chased it with size, and added to it too early when it was going against me thinking i was going to let it go through 19.
Instead of adding to a winner once its trending in your favour which is what your supposed to do on these triple leveraged ETFs cause you got to give it a bit of room, thankfully i still respected my stopout and got out at 18.85.
Biggest note i can make here is dont add size on triple leveraged ETF' unless your just piecing in a couple hundred shares at a time, they will eat you up, best way to trade them is to add to winners once you got em.

And last but not least i get to add another AMD fiasco to the thread. Shorted Tiny AMD the first time in the morning at 11.89 scratched it, was thinking it wasnt going to go clean through the 50 day SMA..... (Yellow line)
then shorted about a thousand shares at 11.99, then decided to short 12k shares at 12.05, cause i was close enough to the 50 day, and i figured it would test back down through 12 atleast once before it went if it was even going to go, thought that was a little aggressive so i took half of it off, then re-added to it on the way back down thinking once it got back below 12 it was going to break down,
then i only took like 2k shares off at 11.95, when i had 12k @ a 12.02 average, should have taken off half at 11.92 when the stock still hadnt confirmed the trend had been reversed, it was a nice snap down to buy in too. Would have been up a little on the day, had i done that then just scratched the rest of AMD off when it got back over 12.
finished the day -400.
Just terrible trading all around and i know where this is headed if i keep going, day started off with me fucking up the right trade in GIII so tried to pull something big off on something else where i know my odds are way lower, cause i wanted to make up for the gnote i missed which was a layup on GIII.
Im going to go do some yard work then have a beer and sit in my hot tub and relax.

Just for your reference, as I said initially, even though it trades with an extended timeframe ie 415 PM... after 4PM there's very little volume and the bid/ask widens out.
Briefly, after the opening bell (which you saw this morning) there is also a larger gap for the first 20 minutes or so until things settle down. After that its a penny spread or 2 pennies at most for the rest of the day unless some big moves on the underlying occur.
More to the point however... why would you think (yesterday) that I would make up something that is so readily apparent if one is familiar with the instrument? There is absolutely no reason for me to do so.

Bought a couple of the XLK 57 dollar puts for 40 cents, comey hearing coming on thursday and AMZN, AAPL, FB selling off, another great call vanzandt wish i was in at my desk earlier to see what was happening, looks like im chasing it a bit but i think that no matter what Comey says all the left wing sources will be calling for impeachment on thursday night after the Comey testimony.
Well that was kind of dumb of me on XLK, could have just shorted it at 57.15 then only 25 ticks to the top but instead bought the puts for 40 cents, should have just shorted the stock but im trying to do things a littl different when i want to hold for a couple days trade the options instead.
Well you're still up 10% before fees.
Knowing this market we'll get a 1% gap up tomorrow.
I'd close it overnight. Take the spare change.
