Lol. I’ll bet you $100 I’m right though. My study, data, real life experience is not biased.
I’ve been in the Ocho cinco neighborhood buying weed when I was younger, that’s where the most violence occurred. I used to get off the car walk between two buildings and felt assured that I was protected, good for business. Those trying to muscle into confos area weren’t so lucky.

We currently have laws that should not allow gangbangers to own guns. What STRICTER gun laws do you think would be required to have these law abiding citizens not own guns?

I don't doubt you are right but lots more people live in inner cities so naturally the homicde rates by guns would be higher in inner cities.
. Ironically data I saw showed that death by suicides from guns happens at a higher rate in the suburbs/urban areas.The quote I said was an actual funny study SNL made fun of. They studied numerous plane crashes and deduced that more people died in plane crashes on planes that were more crowded haha.

You keep arguing that background checks and ID requirements impairs your ability to own a gun.
Is there something you’re not telling us? Do you have a history of domestic violence, armed robbery or the like?
Again, you arguing to the extreme causes the debate to enter absurd lines of debate. If you would actually listen to what is being said instead of what you imagine you would see things more clearly.
Not arguing that at all. Just saying it doesn't address the problem, which is gang murders and killing in inner cities. You go "hey, look at all the deaths children suffer at the hands of firearms" and then get pissy when it is pointed out that those deaths are almost all because of gangs and inner city violence, which your suggested solution would not impact to any real degree. I suppose I could simplify it in a pop-up or coloring book if you find yourself unable to grasp this.
Never violated any law apart from the occasional speeding ticket during my life. Maybe ripped the tag off a mattress or two. What about you? Own firearms?
You do a positively amazing job of pointing out your own flaws and accusing others of them...exactly. Its like some part of your subconscious is lashing out against your conscious brain in an attempt to be recognized.
The disconnect here is that conservatives think a law should be aimed at correcting an actual problem. Liberals look at them as more of a way to hurt their opponents and people they don't like, eg gun owners, Christians, southerners, pretty much all whites, and to show how morally superior they are. That's why he is baffled by your continued interest in how any of his antigun laws would actually do anything to stop gun crime.
This is the point I think a lot of people don't understand. 80% of gun homicides are gang related. Less than 20% of guns used in crimes are obtained legally, and most sources show that less than 10% of guns used in homicides are obtained legally. I'm not against things like background checks & showing ID to purchase a firearm, but laws like this do very little to address the real issue.
The real question that should be asked is "How do we stop gang violence without committing civil rights violations?"
why can't we do both? let's add a solid background checks program for both private and commercial sales and increase the legal age to own a firearm to 21 and try to find a solution for gang violence.
