Didn't say there were any successes, I said it's the status quo. And what you are calling capitalist is still a socialist state, only one that is seen as being unfairly biased in favor of corporations.
As long as corps pay taxes, it is still socialism.
The only Corp that doesn't pay taxes is the "government", which governs just how much anyone is taxed, and just how much anyone recieves.
"Capitalist", the way you are using it, describes only one of the entities that is being taxed, relative to all other entities.
It's still socialism, still national socialism, and still the status quo!
If you've ever given anything to a family member anything you thought they needed, or anything they asked for because they thought they needed it, you are a socialist.
Inside your family the giving is more voluntary.
The more you go outside your family, the more forced it must become.
Whether voluntary or forced, it's still socialism.
The US relies on a mix of force and voluntary contribution.
We might not like the mix, but it is still socialism, even national socialism.
