The Stock Market Works by Day, but It Loves the Night

Makes sense.....we probably have 75% all economic reports being released when the US stock market is closed. Then we also have US corporate earnings all being released after 4PM/before 8AM (and most earnings calls as well). Most M&A announcements come afterhours as well.

In short - probably 80% of news-driven catalysts occur outside of the US trading session.
 
The article does not at all prove that daytrading doesn't work - or any other conventional sort of trading. The logic that proving one methodology works automatically proves another doesn't is just faulty, like concluding that as airplanes can fly, that therefore means ships cannot float.
