Although I generally hate when people complain over spelling errors on some message board I will admit, I'm getting annoyed at seeing the word LOSE spelled LOOSE!!!!!!!!!

1. Could be posters have some language other than English as their first. (English has lots of crazy spelling, meaning confusing aspects unless you've grown up with it.)

2. Could be posters are American but under age 40. In that case, they're a victim of an educational system which supports "nobody loses" and "feeling good about yourself" kinds of things... not bothering to require math and English.
