I very much hope that Jack will reconsider and continue to share his wisdom with us here on ET. I for one have learned an enormous amount from reading his posts, and the posts of others on this thread that is dedicated to Jack's trading methodology.

I find it reprehensible that small minds who do not even take the time to try to understand what Jack is sharing here have nothing but criticism, and yet offer nothing of value themselves.

If Jack should decide that ET is not worth his time after all, I could not blame him, considering all of the crap that he has had to put up with here. It is unfortunate, though, not only for those of us who have spent many hours learning with Jack, but also for those who were too blind to see the wisdom that Jack had to offer.

Truly, Jack offering insights to those unappreciative people was liking throwing pearls before swine.

I wouldn't mind, I can't find my way in it. Adepts of the art practiced here wrote me back that this requires a heck of a printing job: a ream of paper and a full ink cartridge.

If the guru is no longer around to show us how he makes money with this, my motivation to find my way around in this thread has dropped to zero.

I have read your posts on ET and MIF for many hundred of hours. The insight I gained from your wisdom has had and still has an imensive impact on my understanding of the market and my profits.

I want to thank you and if you leave this board I can also understand that. I just want to let you know that even when I don't write to much on these boards I read and combine everything you write.

I hope that you consider to continue to share your wisdom somewhere on the net.

So we are suppost to listen to garbage from a trader that obviously IS NOT a great emini trader. BUT, he talks like he "knows" what is going on. IN FACT, he doesnt know how to make money at all. TRENDFADER is a FAILURE. WHY would anybody want any information from a person who IS IN THE 90% WHO FAIL. THERE IS ONLY 1 ANSWER. SO we can see how the other 90% act(very immature) and think in terms of the way they see the market. I really had a great laugh and a great learning expereince by reading through trendfaders previous posts. Thanks for showing me how the losers and break even traders in the eminis think. Good Luck MIKE as your gonna need it. hahahhaha. what a joke. Mike, when you turn profitable, let me know. I might actaully listen too your advice. Until then, have fun losing your money.

Trading isn't your thing, is it? You spend a lot of energy distracting learners and trying to convince everyone of the impossibility of doing things you are unable to do.

Why not just get a job and earn a salary like most people? There's really no shame in admitting you can't cut it in the markets and move on. You would save yourself and others here a lot of time.

it's too bad the crybabies and the handholders got to him, it would get to me too.

these are the people that want to see a person post real-time trades and take time out of their days to help people who only know how to complain. as far as im concerned, if someone isn't asking for money, why complain about the information they give or how they give it?

it's like calling linda raschke i.e. and telling her "i demand a full trade log and minute by minute trades, i paid damn good money for your book!"

i can only understand maybe half of what jack writes, but the parts i do understand have helped me. it was getting to the point where i was starting to understand more about HIS method of trading.

it seems most of his detractors have only focused on some of jack's performance claims, but not even really looked at the method.

they say they can't understand jack's writing, but by looking at their past posts, they haven't asked jack a single question about any of their confusion!!! they expect everything to jump out at them by reading the post.

as jack mentions above, these are the short term greed types. i call them lazy and greedy.

How do you know this?

People on ET, me included, where counting down impatiently till Labor Day to finally see Jack at work in realtime. I honestly feel he let us down badly. I am glad that you believe you learned so much from Jack.

In this business it is not necessarily swinish to look first for some reality before becoming too exuberant. In fact, I consider it my duty towards other ET members to share my concerns with them. No free lunches here.

Glad again to hear you profited from the "pearls".

Wow.. must take so much time out of his life to post some trades in real time.

I am sure it takes him only a few seconds to write up those 800 word posts.

I would rather see some real trades then a thousand word riddle about what a price channel is.

of course you would, but then that wouldn't teach you anything, would it? you'd always be a naysayer, you'd say anyone could get lucky on one day, why doesn't he do it every day? then pretty soon, you'd want him to come over to your house because you still wouldn't believe him, and come and pat your head every time you made a good trade, and shake his finger at you whenever you made a bad one. then you'd want him to start getting groceries for you and making you dinner. LOL

maybe jack doesn't know how to trade, i dont know. i think he probably overestimated the amount of return a newbie could make with the system. all i know is that he had some valuable information that i could actually apply, and i was happy in getting what i could get.
