the specialist in SLB...

I would like to shake the hand of the man that controls SLB. He is very good at what he does. I was shorting all afternoon as oil was selling off to new lows, he collapsed the bid, I was in the money pretty nicely, only to watch him bring it up right til the close. who would have though that slb would have finished positive on a day that oil makes its 5 month low. ugh...

SLB is a child's play compared to RIG or SII. Next time you should try those:-)
Also COF, GS and LEH specialists are lots of fun too:-))

Smith was one of my bread and butter stocks for a long time. BJS was a winner, too. But I do remember one day the SII guy faded his bid a dollar when I had just gotten long, and I doubled up and kicked his lilly white. Normally I would have bailed but there was something about the way he did it that made it look like a bluff.

I also remember that for about two weeks, SII was alot easier than usual; I concluded that the regular market maker was on vacation or something.

Rarely made money daytrading RIG.

I do recall that COF used to be a real wild stock.
