The Solitary Trader-Life Hampers Personal Growth?

I do not do well in corporate settings; I know this from the entry level jobs I've had. I'm small and suck at sports-right there, I'm screwed. How do you move up in an alpha culture like that?

Get some social development courses.

Real Social Dynamics (RSD) is a good one. The main guy calls himself Tyler Durden (after Fight Club). It's less about picking up girls than the rest of them and more about personal growth, but from the perspective of someone who has actually turned his life around and not just some feel-good guru.

Then go out and practice. You don't get good at being social by staying home.

Quote from quin8670:

I long to abandon corporate culture, awkward and meaningless social relationships, corporate dick suckers, and get into intense isolation.

Our world frames everything in terms of skills. Social skills are developed at a young age. I really don't think people further develop their social skills into their 30s.

Social skills can be lost or developed at any age.
