I'd like you to apologise to Ken and @easymon1 pls Cuddles.
There are occasional pearls of wisdom to be
found here, but I certainly would not take any
investment advice from these people.
A couple of them provide great stock picks
but, for the most part, most do not seem to
know what they are doing when it comes
to choosing stocks.
Overall, it is a really nice forum, with the
exception of a few obvious losers.

It is too bad smallfil has me on /block, because we could get into a refreshing argument about how "Like putting lipstick on a pig" is in my mind an invalid analogy.
The correct way to express it is "Like putting perfume on a pig".

Stocks trading near or at new highs,
With dollar volume above 100M per day.
Leaders lead the market.
If several stocks trading billions like XOM, UNH, CVX, AMGN, LLY, SLB, COP or MRK are making new high,
You can be sure the market isn't about to puke.
Leaders are currently Energy and Healthcare.
CAT (Manufacturing) and MCD (Services) are worth noting.
Indexes wise,
Everyone expected them to puke,
Me the first after that powell meeting on friday.
Guess what ? It's holding.
