So Murray... yesterday I told Calhoun to buy KOLD (the natural gas inverse ultra) at $15. It closed up 10%....
Reason being, despite what everyone is saying: that this is gonna be a bitter cold winter... I'm pretty sure it's gonna be mild af.

Have you seen many hawks or squirrels yet?

1st week of November... they should be everywhere.
They are going about their business like it's still summer.
I learned this from the old dude who knew all.
He's dead now... but he sure did have horse-sense when it came to things that mattered to him.

I know TA well, over 4 decades, you don't put lines on lows of declining market. Lines represent support and resistance. If you connect highest high off the weeklies to lower weekly pivot high without drawing through bars, price is below it. And not till there is few weekly closes above downsloping line can there be change on trend. But am selling these highs/hedged to add onto long term short position.

USUALLY have some strong longs+ strong shorts[ actually,invesre ETFs];
i not only listen, i look @ charts more .
But i like to sell[longs]in bear rallies/ easy to get back in if i want??:D:D

but lately I looked @ some old 2009 IBD newspapers + WSJ 2018 bear.
2018 bear actually in hindsight/ has an up NOV.
50+ 200dma help. VALE, DOW are dong better than EWZ.

Good volume, good 16% VALE+ such in EWZ.
I liked it better earlier, earlier exit in year, good uptrend then.LOL:D:D
BUT i see better uptrends now .
Most time frames this year VALE + other ETFs have done better.
WOW , EWZ is down a lot [3x]more this week than VALE= i hate that if i ever get caught in an underperformer now \LOL.:caution::caution:.
Make sure you have a selling plan\ if you go slow in it.
