True but those other places existed before Silicon Valley became Silicon Valley.

But I agree everything runs it course and its "days" are numbered.

To be fair, real estate is equally or more expensive on the Peninsula, none of which has rent control. It's really more of a case of being a narrow strip of land surrounded by water with every buildable inch already built on.
