The singularity is widely expected to happen within the next 25 years. The power of AI is expected to advance 10 Billion fold over that time. Doubling in power every nine months.
At the singularity it is game over for us humans.
Alan Turing saw it clearly back in 1951, he said back then “Once the machine thinking method had started, it would not take long to outstrip our feeble powers. At some stage therefore we should have to expect the machines to take control”
We don't even understand how the current ChatGBT really works the way it does. Let alone the version that will be 10 billion times as powerful.
